As Logan approached Tanner in the Atrium, he asked him if he could go through a picture survey, called Soularium, with him during Ball State Cru University’s Relationship>Religion outreach. Though Tanner only had 10 minutes before his class, he agreed to start the survey.
“Choose a picture that best describes your view of religion.”
Tanner pointed to a picture of a spider in a web (see red arrow), he responded, “I think religion is like a trap.” Feeling a little discouraged, Logan pushed on with the conversation and was able to share the gospel with him. As Tanner answered
questions about the gospel, he began to see that Christianity is much more than a set of rules, as he previously thought. God began to open the eyes of Tanner’s heart in that very moment!
By God’s grace, Tanner wanted to accept Jesus Christ into his heart right then and there! Even though his class had already started, they continued to talk about the gospel as he was in no rush to get to class.
Scott, trained Logan to be Cru staff at Ball State. Now Logan has opportunities to share the gospel with thousands of lost college students of all different backgrounds. Jessi and I are thrilled to work with a ministry like Cru. What an honor to take part in stories like these!
You, also, are part of stories like these as you invest in our ministry!
